So I wasn't too far with my opinion that somebody copied your works...

Maybe they removed elements from your conversion, or just copied them?

Looks like a few more =][= Scale models made it to the show this year. Some of the entries are just killer amazing and some I could almost make the skill level. The prolific use of free hand on some of the models helped, while on others as has been said, just made them look too busy, but the skill and patience to paint such tiny free hand should be applauded, IMHO.

or maybe they used Scibor's tutorial:P Last year at Italian GD there was presented a squad of miniatures similar to Scibor's ones (here) - but there were no rumours about the origin, so I guess everything is okay also in this case.

personally i just dont see how you go and just paint the same style freehand on just another mini. on top of that just do the same (sucky) loincloth and extensive plate/banner galore all over the mini just to have extra room for freehands. I would die of boredom or at least get mentally ill of the stagnation...

no bugs no interest :P only one trygon.
Besides freehands paranoia doesnt help on most models... its not a freehand contest its a mini contest and freehands should be used to enhance a miniature not the other way around, were minis are made with big standarts just to fill with cheesy freehands... Huge lack of originality on GD italy.

Hey look theres a freehand on the armpit... yay.
