A bit static for my taste, but they're looking cool. Generally they're a new cool concept as far as aliens go.
Were they just less static...

Don't you like cartoonish aliens? The man-in-rubbersuit kind? Really?
wso you probably don't like pulp stuff and early SciFi movies as well....

Hi Mahon.

Our minis do have a tendency to be a bit static in the sense that you mean. Almost all our minis are made principally for me to game with. And I like to game in squads that fit together sensibly in traditional poses on squad bases (three, four or five figures per base).

If you take Marine Squad 1 as an example the three figures were designed together as a squad to fit on a single base for me. Squad Leader in centre flanked by Marine 1 on his right and Marine 2 on his left. Of course they are all mounted on the base to fire more or less straight ahead unlike the way they are posed in the pack photo you have seen. They are posed pointing in all directions in the pack photo simply to show as much of the figure as possible to potential customers. Sadly that loses the sense of squad cohesion that is so important to me.

Makes no sense to anyone else but I love them!
