Hi
Well, it's a wip becouse I can still change it. I just want to get some feedback about it.
I wanted to get earthy look, a bit realistic but with strong highlights which looks good (I've never liked making strong higlights but now I think I' gonna chance my style). The base still need some snow I'm waiting for (just ordered one).
I'm quite happy with it so please be kind.

And you should be happy. I guess you had achieved your target very well. Blending is executed very good.
What I can advise is that you can make shadows more intensive. If you are planning to add snow than make more blueish tones on whole model. A tiny glazes of blue should be fine, especially in darker places.
Keep it going!

They look quite realistic, but I can;t see those "strong highlights" you talked about.
I like them, and I wouldn't change anything myself. If you want strong highlights though, something needs to be done

I like them a lot! soliders in reality not always have time to take care about having uniforms well-highlighted
and of course - welcome to the forum!

I agree with Nameless - they look well blended, neat, natural, and realistic. But the highlights aren't really strong. They're simply good, not overdone...

Thanks
It really means something to hear it's good.
Highlights ... are far stronger than usual on my minis but looking at your work here at chest of color they are just good
I've made the shadows a bit stronger and it looks far better now - thanks for the advice.
And now I'm just learning some wetblending techniques and preparing for painting a camo scheme on a tankhunter which is going to be next. Any tip for makin tri color camo on the uniform (I recok base would be the same as on tha kazak, but a bit darker, second color would be brighter and more greenish base color and final third color dark brown with earth).
