today we had another game: khador led by karchev vs cryx;
I decided to choose good'ole mageblight spammer as my caster and also to provide him unusual support:

-goreshade
-deathjack
-harrower
-skarlock
-9x zombie pirates
-2x pistol wraiths
-machine wraith
-gorman

that's exactly 600; I was considering dropping machine wraith and one of the pirates OR a pistol wraith to get rengrave but all in all I'm glad I didn't change the basic idea;
my plan was to engage / absorb the charge of heavy khador jacks by the pirates and after that move my heavy jacks into melee; goreshade will be protecting the troops against spells and feat while DJ and skarlock will be able to get any khador upkeep spells casted before reaching mageblight zone...
I didn't manage to test if pirates can stop a charging jack but I learnt thet deathjack is nothing against marauder

that f:censored:g jack annihilated my death device in a sincle round and it's even cheaper than a slayer!!!

anyway goreshade was the true bastard once again and combined with gorman and pistol wraith can bring lotta troubles to enemy caster

yup - but that was close, especially after deathjack was annihilated with a single blow from marauder!

another encounter behind us... and this was the tough one

once again goreshade was facing karchev and once again I realised that:
- karchev towing jacks can be extremly fast, EXTREMLY! don't You ever dare to underestimate it

- deathjack is not as tough as it seems

- goreshade: in spite of high DEF and ARM values it's better to keep him behind

today goreshade was killed* and after that summoned bane thrals killed karchev;
I had possesed destroyer, 2 mechanithralls, 2 bane thralls and bloat thrall left against other destroyer, kovnik and that bastard kell bailoth or something

all on all I managed to kill kovnik and win the game but it was very first time we were playing with both casters annihilated

*don't worry: karchev was killen next round

i played first battle my small cryx army

i got : goreshade , deathjack, 2 x 6 mechaninthralls, pis) tol wright piand Boomhowler&company my opponent got(he played with Legion) Lylyth,carni, 3 shredders, 10 swordmans and 6 archers(striders i think soo) and battle: i started and all units goes in front he goes too and i next my turn i boomhlower and his trolls threw stinks bombs on lylyth and... nothing:D it was their firs and last thrown

later from gorashade feat bhanetralls charged lylyth and too nothing

i was very sad

but after she and her dog carni killed bhanetralls and trolls, machanintralls walked to warlock , goreshade teleported dj and he killed lylyth

looks like lylith is a tough b!tch!

against such nasties it's good to have 2 bonejacks under command: You run one of them next to sth You want to be dead, and slam it with second one; hit death-chicken moves d6" and knocks down anything on it's way

today before noon deneghra faced haley and her cygnarian force;
I must say I had no idea she might be such a nasty opponent! especiall after being target of her slowing down spell several times (forgot the name of it) and distruption bolts;
thanks toruk gorman's black oil bomb combined with deneghra's crippling grasp were more than enough to make haley extremly vulnerable to ANY damage!*
conclusion:
-haley is more than nasty: don't You dare to forget she has ability to negate any spell targeted up to 3" from her for only 1 FOC!

-cygnar light jacks are nasty too: not only arc nodes but also have 18 ARM thanls to the shield!
-journeyman caster is the nasyness #3: second warcaster in the battlegroup

*especially for hungry deathjack's anger

in today battle goreshade killed saint kreoss

, menoth has zelots(i hate this unit!!!) with monolith bearer(i really hate this guy!!!) choir(]:->) 2 light jacks and one big (crusader) and eiryss, trollkins and wright fighting with zelots+monolith bearer, and rest my army want to kill kreoss.
Now i know that bane thralls are relly good unit with really goooooooood hit but they have only 1 damage point so they are like kamikaze

, mtralls are good against jacks but don't like templates and fire spells

and goreshade have nice spells which helps units and DJ BOBO

.
I think i need something with range weapon...maybe some bile thralls
