Eldar Wraithlord(s) - Exarch Style

Post by Edimasta »

Been a long time since I touched a Mini, but now the time has come to continue something... so I reached for my Eldar Minis I started when the new Codex arrived, and here you go... my Wraithlords I do.

The first one I did a few months ago, I just planed to do him like an ancient samurai, standing there with one feet on a big stone-thing-plateu... holding the sword with both hands, ready to strike each enemy with the ancient fury of an old exarch...

This is how he looks today:

I also started a second one, getting the idea of involving the theme of some exarch-wraithlords more into the style.

So this one is a princess, she was a banshee-exarch for hundreds of years, now rejoining the forces again in this wraithlord.

I am trying to do her in banshee-colors to fit the pattern of a banshee-exarch, and also I think about getting mor bitz on her for making it more banshee-style... any ideas?

interesting idea, I like it.
As for banshee wraithlord - nothing innovative comes to my mind ;) Helmet with banshee mask and "hair" seems like most obvious choice. Loin cloth perhaps?

really cool approach - dives much more character to these wraithlords than they originally had. I like the conversions, now would love to see them painted well, so that they are really eyecatching!

Love the princess and the last wraithlord. The first one is cool but the last two are great in pose and character.
