the face looks good, but it could use some more defenition in the form of shading and more highlights. But judging from the pics I think the sculpt lacks some detail, so that might be difficult to do.
The glasses aren't really working for me, but I don't really know a way to paint them other than painting them like you paint gems (which might be the wrong way)

Looks like this is going to be a nice mini :)

well the frugo base is quite innovative ; D

jokin', but the brown hat is something like "I must have some more highlights!"

Just a question about the dusting of white sprey paint over the origional undercoat... Is this supposed to give the upper parts of the mini more of a highlighted effect? e.g. A lighter effect on the top of the head, gun and arms...etc?

I've heard people talk about it yet I have never tried it before because I'm not too sure what its supposed to achieve

@ Greenmonkeydishwater: It's also something new for me, but the thing You say - about highlihgting effect - could work. But the efects I will see during painting the robe.. Anyway - effects will be posted..;)

@ToMaZ - Thanks for solid comment! You're right, today I will give the face much more contrast..

Okay, so after one week I have found some time to paint my mini! ;)
I have shaded a bit the face, made final light-reflection on glasses, and - as You see - painted the rifle too.
Here it is:

What do You think about metallic parts?

the face does look better now :) The glasses are nice too.

The metallics need more shading IMO. Especially the gold parts. They could benefit from more highlighting too.
The woodgrain is a nice touch but could use some darker lines in between too and some more variation in lines (not so straight.

Keep up the good work :)

Hummm... That's right. I will shade them in next weekend, as well as make contrast on wooden parts ;)
Thx a lot!
