this is a great and skillfully painted mini. Too bad that when you look at it from another angle, the effect is lost. This mini was in the white dwarf some time ago I believe.

That, I think, is not relevant in this case. This is a display mini, representing a moment, that is the point of it. On the other hand, paint one which looks good from all angles :) :P...

Remember the Indiana Jones movie and the brigde in it. That bridge looked also good from one angle only and exactly that angle was the point :D.

yeah sure, I know that... But I still think that it only works on a picture. I think that IRL you see too much of this mini, unless you are in exactly the right spot so you're eyes only see that what the cam saw in this case.

I just pointed it out, that from another angle the mini won't look that spectacular, just like a green painted tau with some strange stripes on it :P It's still skillfull painting for sure (and a great and original idea) and I don't think I would be able too pull this off unless with a lot of practice

Of course I don't know how the back of this mini looks, might be painted just as good with normal colors.

And I never watched Indiana Jones movies ... brrrr Harrison Ford

What do you mean?

I'm with Endrem on this model - it is strictly a display piece and shows great idea and superb painting skills.
