no more craft paints...

Post by LadyEyes »

Well... they played "Deal or No Deal" with me at Gen Con Indy.

I gave up all of my craft paints. No more Apple Barrel, Ceramcoat, etc. They're ok for scenery, but no more mini painting with them for me.

In return, I was given a brand new paint case and most of my paint was replaced with Reaper Pro Series paint.

So, I have Reaper Pro, Vallejo, a few Citadel, and a few Golden paints.

Now I have to re-learn how to mix my skintones with all new colors... :?

LE, why have you chosen pro, and not master series paints?

Well, for starters... Pro was what was being offered. For seconders, Pro comes in dropper bottles and Master does not.

Isn't that the other way round, LE? ;)
Masters (the new paint line) are in dropper bottles, and I suppose they rather promoted those paints, not older Pro.

Yup! You're completely right. I keep getting them mixed up.

Now I'm trying to figure out new color recipes for stuff. I'm still working on skin tones, but I figured out reds very nicely last Friday. :D
