Painting Black Armour (possible ideas for the CoC Army)

Post by Dragyn »

Went looking for some articles on making realistic rubble for my bases for the bikes and came across this article that may help with painting the black. you have probably seen it but thought it would be worth posting the link anyway;

Hope it helps some one. :)

could be useful: painting black armour is a pain in the a*s for me...
it's almost as problematic as painting living flesh! :lol: :wink:

I know you meant well, but this is one of the poorest and most stupid sounding articles GW has ever produced in my opinion. What is "painterly" highlighting?! And "hyper-realism" black?! Geesh. And the photos are more wonderful examples of the crap that GW does with PhotoShop.

I have to agree with Tanya on this one. I suck at painting black but this article by Jakob Nielsen helped me a lot more than the one mentioned above...
