CofC Bike Squad (well almost)

Okay, I have started the bike squad and have 2 wip bikes for your review, sorry for the blurriness, will take some better ones next WIP step;

Bike 1 (Actually leader trike with twin linked multimeltas)

I know there is some cleanup work to do on the seams.

Could really use some ideas for chaosifying that backend part. Would a banner pole with either skulls hanging or a skeleton hanging be good? Any suggestions are welome.

Driver 1 (dedicated noise marine as well)

I like them. Especially the first bike (leader's one) is great. Looking forward to seeing the progress of the works! And thanks for yourt participation in the project

Hitting a question with my trike and bike squad in general.

I know I listed it as a nosie marine trike, but it will be part of a three bike squad and the other riders will pretty much be undivided CSM's, so would it look off if only one of the drivers was a noise marine or would it be better to have all undivided CSM's?

Noise marine with speaker in mouth and cables coming out of his eyes.

IMO you would best go for an undivided marine instead of the noise marine. If you have one laying around.

the bikes are looking very good btw. Great job so far

and the first minis for our legion are almost ready and they look soooo nice man, good work.

well since squad minis are undivided unless you sculpt slaanesh stuff on them i think it would look better for a CSM instead of the noise marine to be champion...

Agreed on all points and also in keeping with this being a playable army Noise marines are heavy support and therefore should not be mounted on bikes (per rules expert at local GW store)

Added small blades on rear fenders and banner pole. Going to make flag for banner with the coc chaos symbol (i hope!!!)

Added trophy poles and at back added dark eldar chains to simulate pic from 2nd edition chaos bikes.

Took the "Iron Horse" idea to the next level using the skelton horse. This bike will have twin linked bolters but they are not on as I will paint them separate so that I can properly paint the horse head.
