John Blanche's Miniatures...

Post by Skrit »

It was told a while ago that there would be a collectors range of models made after the vision and artwork of John Blanche.

I think you either like his work or you don't and I must say I do like it.

Here's the link to the website with some info:

And here are some examples done by Jakob Nielsen:

Edit: somehow the pics don't show up, maybe our friendly Administrator can fix that!;)

Edit:
As the admin loves John Blanche's concepts and art, he decided to fix the pics ;)

Edit2: Why, thank you very much! ;)

I've looked at his (JB's) site some time ago. it's weird. Just as it should be.
I like his art, but I'm not sure, if I would like minis inspired by it. I like one of two shown on Nielsen's site.
Where can I find some info on this line of miniatures?

I never liked JB's stuff... don't like his miniatures either. To me some of the miniatures look like left-overs put together... Most miniatures are really not my style

Most excellent IMHO. And totally in the spirit of John's art!

Done by Steve Buddle for the John Blanche range. I can't wait to get my hands on this one as I think it's even better than the ones we've already seen!:D

Skrit - have you got some more news? When will be those available and where?
Who sculpted first two models? I've heard something about Klocke.

To be honest... No! But I will look into it as I want to know it too!

What Steve said on Cmon was that it might be released through Black Library.
