More progress tonight:

Looking at this picture, a couple of things need tidying up, the bracers need a bit more shading and his eyes could do with a repaint (they've not even come out on the photo, there are pupils there - honest!). Other than that he's pretty close to completion I think. Unsure about what colour to paint his hair (open to suggestions) and I want to try some rusty NMM on the beastman's armour...

I'd go for grey hair, shaded with abit of brown mixed into it

The hammers are excellent (what colors were used?) but his 'thoughtful'

face reminds me of one athletic American politician

I definitely wouldn't leave the hair black. Mordred's idea seems to be a cool one - dirty grey

Or maybe make him a redhead?

For the hammers, quite simply Codex Grey/Black mix and then kept adding white for the highlights until I reached white. One thing I realised when painting this mini is that for NMM it isn't really which colours you use, its where you put them - which is what I need to work on hehe

you're right, but your hammers have something of Goatman's style about them. not that they're exactly like his, but they remind me of them
