Demi demanded a WIP shot of the lich so I fiddled a bit with my camera and took some pics. I think there is too much black primer areas left on the miniature to get a good shot, but I think it shows that Mahon's tips worked. Thanks again Mahon
He's my second commission and we agreed on a character in little over table top level. So he would stand out O_o...
Nothing is really finished yet. The armour is the closests to being finished, but I still need to edge it and rehighlight here and there.
Oh and if anyone has a good shading suggestion for the green, I'll be happy to hear it, as I can't get it to look good... I hope to get some more things done on him today.

If you keep on this way, this mini will be your best (from those I know, at least). I like it a lot, nice transitions, interesting colors.
As to the green, I would try to play around with some dark greenish-brownish (maybe some dark blue?) glazes in the recesses, but I have also no really ready-to-use ideas...
very promising wip Tomas ! the armour looks very nice, I'd take the highlights up to pure white it will definitely give it that extra shiney touch. Also, since it's very weathered and old looking, I'd concider washing some dark brown around the rivets and let tiny streams of rust / grease / dirt run from under them.
Thanx everyone DOn't know if this is going to be my best one, there are a lot of areas that I can still screw up If it is, too bad I have to give it away then
That is turning out very nice. I have read the Brushthralls article and I kinda lost it somewhere. That and I don't own some of the paints that were used. What brands/colors are you using by chance?
