this is my finished mini thread...... the last one i did was this little bugger, most people think it's Puss in boot's but it's actually von helsing as a cat.....this mini is from tale of war and been a blast to paint..... this is my third mini i paint and i'm still learning so always in for some critisism...... let me know what u guys think....

If this is the third mini you ever paint, you'r doing great. Good job!
Keep on painting and you'll see great improvement on your next miniatures. The secret is to keep practicing and never be afraid of experimenting new tehniques.

actually, it's a cat as van helsing :mrgreen:

pretty good paintjob. some parts need more contrast, some look a bit flat, transitions could be smoother here and there. just few things you could work on with your next mini.

also, base could be something more than just plain rock. more colours to it to make it look more interesting, some ground or greenery to add different textures. and it perhaps could be placed on some plinth or a base, even a standard plastic gaming base. I think that pure scenery without something to put in on looks a bit odd, but maybe that's just me.
