The only "nitpick" I have for you is the beast's ear looks just a *bit* odd. I'm not sure if it's that it's more of a reddish tone than the other skin areas, or that it more of a block color without transitions... Just seems a little off compared to the rest of the model. That said, it's barely noticeable, and doubtless looks better in person anyway.
Not an expert, but iirc, people usually paint the color of the liquid (with eventually a color highlight/shadow to simulate the top and the bottom of the liquid) and then do a little thin black line at the top of the liquid. Then they paint the glass and at last varnish with gloss varnish to simulate light reflexion, glass, etc but perhaps someone with more experience will be able to explain more clearly how
