I love the combination of colours and the vivid red make for such an interesting model. I quite like the muted way the base works with the minor details it doesn't detract the focus away from the model, but i also agree with the lack of interaction as such with the model. It's a great piece and i like the quality of painting.

Cool work but i would add something to the base.

Rocks give some shades of green and brown its too cloose to the color of the metal.

Ground it dosent look painted to me just like the sand was glued there some highlights would be nice.

Thanks guys for your feedback.

I'm also not 100% happy with the base and I will definately try to improve and in that case try some different things with my next miniature (which also includes adding some "interesting" details to make the scene more alive without disctracting too much from the miniature itselft). I will also pay more attention to the colors I use with my next base to make it more fitting to the miniature.
