Re: p1per's stuff
Very nice! the bright colours come out so well enhanced by the grey/dark base! Well done mate!
Re: p1per's stuff
thank you all for your comments - really appreciate.
@Nameless 100% agree. I will work on some bases this week (without miniatures) and see how it goes maybe this will help me overcome my lazyness and lack of joy when painting them.

Re: p1per's stuff
great job on the painting and really nice scene. but the paintjobs on those lamps look terribly flat when you compare them to the nicely contrasted miniature.

I think the proportions of the base somehow turned out weird and not fitting guess I should have tested putting Brahyn on the plinth before glueing, priming and painting everything. ...a well lesson learned but I still hope it looks ok!

Re: p1per's stuff
thx Hellspawn
I actually wanted to add some animals but the ones I oredered didn't arrive in time and I didn't want to hold the mini back even more (since it's actually a gift) maybe that would have helped. In general my bases suck(ed) I'm trying to improve but I guess it will still take some time but I got some nice suggestions from Maru so lets see maybe I can surprise you guys with a nice base on my next miniature.

Re: p1per's stuff
Uuuuu... what has happened here? The mini is great, but the base much below the painting standard. Although the earth and flowers look very cool
Generally it lacks an idea. This mini shows some interaction with something happening on her left, but we don't see it. Maybe that makes it a bit confusing?

That's exactly why I said that the base was empty Something's clearly missingsea.man wrote:Uuuuu... what has happened here? The mini is great, but the base much below the painting standard. Although the earth and flowers look very cool
