Sorry, I understood that too... and thought my answer was kinda funny too... well... belgian humour is a bit strange.
I'll explain. When you're Belgian, two things are funny:
- use yourself as the main target of all your own jokes and push people to treat you like their main target;
- be freely cruel with somebody else who never diserved that... we consider he can't be hurted because he's out of suspicion of anything!
It's a bit absurd but Belgium is the motherearth of absurd!
