Ah. I thought maybe it'd have been Kel; he did that to me in the first round.

same here, but Kel is generally more demanding when it comes to scoring (so it seems after these 2 rounds). supervike is on the other side of the coin, he gives good scores to all ;)
I wouldn't be surprised if I lost with all 4 judges or if I got kicked of the contest after getting better scoring from 2 judges. When you got better scores from three judges though... and with all three differences between you and opponent are similar... and then the 4th judge makes such a huge difference between two competitors. I should take over Nathan's old nick - frustrated father ;) of course, nothing personal and no hard feelings against Nathan, I understand that judging is always subjective.

EDIT: anyway, what are you preparing for this round? using "three colours" as a technique or theme? :)

Both. My palette will be P3 Exile Blue, Bloodstone, and Menoth White Highlight. (Essentially, ultramarine blue, burnt sienna, and white.) The figures will be a man eating a bomb pop (um... it's a three-popsicle found here in the States) with a zombie sneaking up about to eat him. There will be a bomb pop ad on the wall nearby that reads "Enjoy a snack today!" or something to that effect. It's not the greatest idea for the figures, but I already blew a week trying to some up with something better.

As for Kel, that was my initial thought, but his scores were on par with the other judges for a lot of other entries. I didn't feel the need to bring it up, though, since I still went on the the second round. And given that his scores for me in the second round were on par with the three other judges, I figured it was just a fluke.
