I thought that the Twilight stuff is released by Hasslefree Miniatures but I could be wrong...

Ruber toys all the way...

I don't think they release it but Kev White is behind the project anyway.

Serious lack of contrast in these paintjobs.... bad pictures too.

I have been following these releases and I have to say they are very different from the usual chaotic evil universes that fill most of the wargaming tables... these are some nice simple miniatures that would be perfect to introduce your young kids to painting and wargaming since these are all positively errrr positive :) After a painting session with your young one you can put him to bed and unpack your bad boys and let the bloodshed begin

I don't really mind the 'positive', 'not-oh-so-dark-and-evil' and 'light-hearted' style. it's the paintjobs which don't do the minis justice. they could sell really well - for many reasons: people like fresh approaches to fantasy plus what you said. but with the rubber toy look (due to flat paintjobs) they look like cheap toys you can buy in a supermarket. much cheaper... so why buy them as more expensive minis?
