Crashed Aquilla Diorama ([*WIP*] Images Heavy)

Ello,

I currently got a Crashed Aquilla Model and I am planning to create a diorama scene of some Orks battling a Dreadnought or some troops. If you have some great ideas, let me know. Here's a WIP on the progress.

I love that set of scenery and just got one from a friend of mine. The painting look good, nice and battered! After you've finished the painting I suggest that you put some static grass patches here and there to break the overwhelming brown mud and bring out the scene a bit more.

looks very nice so far, especially the plane itself. I would highlight the brown mud even more, it always looks unfinished if you leave it too dark.

skrit allready mentioned that a couple of static grass patches would break the colour abit.

since its crashed a few bullet holes might be fun! If you got a spare imperial guard, maybe a dead pilot somewhere.

I was thinking of some Orks cheering on top of the crashed Aquilla (as their Fighta Bomber shot the plane down) then you see some Imperial pilots crawling out of the Aquilla, hmm.. but that will require some conversion.

On the other hand, was thinking of a Dreadnought vs Mob of Orks scene.

Some updates, I painted three little orkies, I'm trying to paint each Ork in a different variety of color scheme so not all of them will have the same clan color, help me with a bit of different Ork colors.

Um, I do not quite get it, you want us to vote for one of the 3 different color schemes? or you intented to make 3 color schemes in your group? The later case means that you want us to comment about those 3 color schemes?

By the way, honestly, please tell a bit more about your color scheme, or may make some more closer photos, personally I cannot really tell there are much differences among them. All of them have about the same green skins, bronze rusty rough weapons and red clothes.

I really like weathering You painted on the ship and orks' weapons and clothes; the chess pattenr looks also damn effectve!
