I left my wet palette in drawer for some time, as I am to lazy to use it but those blendings reminded me that it might be time to take it back out... Very nice and clean, technically but I think it looks more like a statue or a comic character not a real fighter. But then it's just me liking my minis dirty and ragtag.
Do not underestimate the power of stupid people in large numbers...

First of all I'd like to say this figure looks flawless, smooth and it's really an eye catcher.

Two points of attention (which have already been said by others):

- the helmet could benefit from some more blacklining between the different parts
- the base lacks some creativity. Try to get out of the "brown earth, green grass" type of thing. I think even a base with grey painted sand would look better on this figure.

One last minor thing is the base on another base on a plinth thing it's mounted on right now. Why not sculpt the basing material on the plinth directly?

Thanks for showing this on our forums, you are really a very talented addition to the crowd here!

thx all - especially for the suggestions what/where to improve really appreciate! :)

@Corvus the base/plinth consists of three parts. I actually wanted to make a plinth as base but then I switched to the regular round base which comes with the Terminator's box. Reason was that in case I ever submit the mini to a competition that would require the figure to stand on it's original base I won't be disqualified... well to be honest that was at least the excuse to myself why I didn't go for a complete plinth I guess my main problem was as usual motivation for the base at the end. :(

ok anyway I slightly drifted off... the top part is the original Terminator base which is glued to a Warmachine base I had lying around here. And these two parts were glued on a spray can cap as some sort of plinth replacement to make it look better. :D

Finished Seamus today. I really enjoyed painting him 'cause he doesn't have too much details so everything went quite fast. I also tried to improve a bit on my basing... I guess it's a first small step. ;)

Love it. :)
Would have pushed the highlights on the hat a little more to the white but that just me and cause I want to be annoying :D
Other than that, great ambiance with the base, just fits nicely with the character.
Impressive job

so clean and smooth :) not my style, but you've mastered it :)
base - I like the construction. it's simple, so it showcases the mini. but, you could spend some more time on painting it. seamus has so many layers, deep shadows, highlights, while lamp seems to be painted with black.
