Its those cotton wires that are used to protect fragile stuff (this is what i call a slow answer :doh: )

Superb work on leonidas - nothing to add. May I ask what you used for that base? Is this some kitchen supply thing (since the plastic cover seen in your WIP-Thread picture)? :D

Thanks, its one of those bases with a dome for 54 mm miniatures, the rest is cork :mrgreen:

For Sparta! Really nice, but I guess I woul have limited the colours on the base more. I painted some of these fellows a few years ago and tried to reach the colours from the movie. I guess the more colourfull flowers disturb me a bit. But this is just my opinion.
