bigger scale models are way outside my price range, but that 28mm Carrasco sculpt is quite interesting

Okie-dokie. I got my package (so I am a Predator movie fanboy... Big Deal ), and my first thought was "Who the hell packs resin minis in paper envelope?".


But then - it's quite stiff! (I just need to see how this sentence can be twisted in an evil way). And inside I got a nice plastic box, securing the minis very well for transportation - Good One.



As for the minis themselves I must say one thing first. Previously from minis in my collection the "most-insanely-difficult-to-paint" mini was considered Miniature Factory resin mini:

Right now I would guess the Predator minis beat it square and fair. The details are so freakin' tiny I wonder if I'll ever get courage to try and paint them.

Detail is crisp and clean, some flash evident but nothing that can't be removed with a sharp knife. I didn't get any mold displacement, but unfortunately I got some air bubbles. The most troublesome for me is on the skull pedant of the Bone Predator model, as it will require some very carefull work to remove, but I've had and repaired much worse. The size comparision shows the minis are lean and fragile and lack some "hugeness" factor, for my expectations. I wanted to shoot some photos, but my camera died so no photos.

Overall: great quality of sculpts, well cast and well packed for delivery. The price tag is "expensive", especially considering those are tiny pieces of resin but at least you get a good quality product for it.
