Hmm okay i will try to work this out more. But is also really a problem of the pics, thex negate the contrast in the reds. :(

But i will enhance the shadows and highlights more.

Good trick ;) Thank you for that.

I reworked the contrast on the wings. I often have not the courage to do more contrasts. But i should in future.

I also took pictures in front of a White background, which made taking pictures of the red easier. :)

Hey there!

I have begun to work on a Nurgle Dread and try to redo Bohun´s Miniature Mentor Tutorial in order to improve my overall skills and techniques.

This is the first try, chassis is finished. Ignore the base, as it is 10% done. XD

Tell me, what you think. I believe, i have improved a bit in making stronger contrasts?!

o hello ther :)
as i soo Bohuns works in RW - this rust color is very similar to one of the stages that Bohun gets thru - so you are on good way
"nurgl parts" - looks smouth but contrast is far from what bohun gets to it is to light by now - change this photo to grey scale end you will instantly c difrence .. end actualy you wil know wher to work more

if your goal with this mini would not to imitate Bohun style i would just sey - add shadows :P but as it is "Bohun style" - incrase contrast beyond :)

Thank you for your advice! I worked again on the shadows in order to enhance contrast:
