Well......
I thought I'd try 'em out. I do like GW's stuff (mostly) and I looked forward to getting some of the resin stuff. I bought a box of Ork Tankbusta's as I've always like the mini's. I really like painting Ork's, and I love the little bomb squigs. The mini's were in a box, unable to be opened and looked at first. The cost was 55$ CDN (I get 10% off at the LGS though...) and you get 5 min's and a couple squigs. So for around 10$ each I thought I could surely live with that price tag as a painter, and not a gamer.
I opened them up and my first impression was "Wow, these are really nice and crisp!" The blister style packing was really full and didn't have that "rattle" of wasted space the metal versions always do.
...then I started inspecting them. Yikes.... Just.... yikes. Air holes everywhere! Pieces of details like fingers lookin' all jacked up 'cause of MASSIVE air bubbles. The only thing I was glad for was that I didn't buy the mini's from the NEXT batch in this cast, beacause of all the pieces of the mold that are attached to my mini's.
Overall a big dissapointment. I will still buy their stuff, but ONLY if I can inspect it first. I've had bad mini's in metal before, but nothing as bad as this from GW.

Re: Games Workshop news
After a debate with some friends we came to a conclusion, that this is an aware tactics aimed to reduce buying minis on-line. It simply won't be worth the risk of getting a mini with 30% of surface with bubbles - one just needs to buy them in LGS to inspect them first
Re: Games Workshop news
no no no - you get it all wrong it is first line to produce Air chocolate space marines - you get a Death company in white chocolate - if one of them is removed from table - you just eat it
- thats perfect - a line of sweets combained with colector things - end a "casulty" is 1 use only so you need to buy new `1
