The blade and gems look very nice, good smoothnes on the ivory/white armour!
I agree with demi about the banners, two diffrent colours don`t look nice.
And oh I cant see progress in taking photos :D

in this case I won't nitpick too much, it's a cool model :)
maybe it's leaning forward too much, thus creating 'falling-down' effect. and glaive seems to be seriously bent between handle and blade.

good to see you live and kicking... I mean painting :)

 i really love this one, the blade is really sweet and the white fits very well, i think the flags need a little something other than that really good simple and very well done

Thanks guys, honestly speaking this one had been crushed, dropped and mangled through the whole apartment moving process and it's been sitting on my desk for ages so I really just wanted to get it done and painted so i could move on with the whole painting process. I know it's not my best one and lots of flaws with it but I'm just happy it's done because i really needed to just get it out of the way. ^^ still i think the best part of the model is the blade as painting goes and it was the most fun part.

Well onto the next model since i'm motivated again. This time around a rackham model, only done the base but will start on the model this week.

I'm thinking either, a typical grey/blue armour with red cloak, or a sparkly blue armour or perhaps a grey armour with lots of rust effects. Will have a think more about it.

The base looks good, but that tuft of grass is too long IMO. You could also work in some green between some of the stones to give it a tad more variation.
I would love to see this one in a sparkly blue armour and maybe an orange/red cloak. Or a white cloak or a black one... or a ... :P

Well bit more of a minor update, did the base coat and some of the shading/highlights on the cloak, need to keep pushing the contrast and keep it tidier, but it's slowly getting there.

I did trim the long grass some more and i need to add some more grass to the base, but red is such a difficult colour to photograph. Anyway i'll get better pictures when i'm not feeling so lazy ^^.
