Personally I hate painting belts, straps, buckles and other useless details like pouches, small bags, etc. A mini might look very attractive, but when there are too many straps on it, I refuse to paint it.
I also hate basecoating large and complex areas. I always seem to loose so much time on them.

overdetailed miniatures. painting them takes me ages, which means they remain unfinished...
really fine details, too. I think I simply lack skills necessary to paint them to satisfactory quality. or maybe it's the matter of my expectations only...

Figs from Enigma ^^ I love the figs, but hotdamn... there is texture on everything!
Also I don't like to paint hard to reach areas that are still pretty visible...
