stones look like hirst pieces... I'm quite sure Scott will confirm :)

Scott, your minis look ...washed up. Is this a photo issue?

Yep, they're hirst blocks. Couldn't tell you what as I got a few finished pieces from a guy who is moving away and couldn't take them with him.

Nameless - Washed up? Not sure what you mean. If you mean the colour looks a little goofy then I'd agree with you, and yep it's a photo thing. I am currently adding +.7 light, and maybe I'll scale it back to +.3. +0 seems to come out really dark and shadowy. Is that what you meant?

you got ther Canon 1000D
I am currently adding +.7 light,
end this is caind of to far
- well i would sey - make photos in "RAW" format - then using a program to expouse RAWs add or remove Evaluacion -
RAW - preservers much more data about colors end contrast then JPG
RAW in not expoused by "automat" in camera - you need do it by your own but thanx to that you mey manualy corest exposure

end yup your phosos are badly evaluated - to bright on low contrast ... end well trayed to fix that .. but it is much easer to fix under evaluated photo then over evaluated :(

BTT

Yup new "mole man" look better then old 1 but WiP looks beter then finished .. - i blame photos for it

make a RAW photo - end use it - if you dont know "how to" send it to me or Mahon

How exactly do you make a RAW photo?
Getting back into the thick (or rather thin as in thinning my paints) of it, not picked up a brush in some time so this may hurt a bit until I get used to the feel of them again

if your digital cammera support that format - just set recording format to RAW or RAW + JPG - if it dos not support such format - you dont do it - simple :)
proces of setting that depends on Cammera manufactuer end type of it - as usual all shoulld be in described "MANUAL" ;)

I hope the photo's are getting better here. I took many more shots, and settled on these three. I did forget to adjust to a lower evaluation, but I could always take new ones if need be. Let me know how this guy looks, much appreciated as always. I tried some more of the painting suggestions on this guy and tried to continue to up the contrast. CofC has really helped my painting a ton, many thanks! This mini was the most time I've put into a fig. Hope some of it shows!
