Hi :) It is a pretty good start. I mean: The color scheme is interesting, and layout of these colors is good.
I think the work is clean.
I think there would be progress if you take a smaller brush and add details. For example on the skulls, and division lines on the leather stripes.
IMO you put too much paint on the mini - is it too thick?

I agree with Ana but i think you could be a bit neater and define each feature on the model alot better with thinner application of paint. Alot of the colour transitions are very abrupt and sudden so by using thinner paint you should be able to control that alot better. Not a bad start and just keep painting, alot of it is getting used to a thinner consistency of what you want to use and the patience of not rushing the model.

Hello! I use 1 drop of paint and 2 drops of water. Is it too thick?
Where do you think i use too much paint?

for me i failed in hairs, skulls, water sack and metallics on sword and axe (but i think when i get washes it would be better).

It was painted for liitle forum contest, there were some voting from 1 till 10, this mini got average score 5,5. I thought i painting on higher level, what do you think?

And my be i failed in photo, focus on axe, i'll try to photo this again with right focus.
P.S. Sorry for my English.

From all my minis I painted orks mainly (easy to get with AoBR pack) and I know one thing. If you are painting green skin, add some red/redish brown to skin shade. It's making wonders. As for the rest of the mini, then you know better:) It's very flat and messy.

It would be so much better if the colors looked flat. I think it was in Kero's thread that some valuable hints were offered...

It depends on the brand, some are thicker than others... I like the base in your first one but it lacks a bit of highliting on the brown to make the rock edges stand out. Other than that it's a great start and much better tham my first ones
Getting back into the thick (or rather thin as in thinning my paints) of it, not picked up a brush in some time so this may hurt a bit until I get used to the feel of them again

if you painted only 42-45, it's one of your last
if you already painted 1000, it's one of your first
if you wanted to quit painting after this model it would be one of your last
if you want to paint many more - it can still be one of your first.

it's all so subjective...
