^^ even in a drunken state you're able to paint such cool models. I think Tomaz has hit a good point in that rust streaks would suit this one more, but not over the top :) still a great piece atm.

Rrrrighr!
I am prepaing resin slayer model for painting:

It will be glass case model only - it's too huge to be used in the game (unless used like a terrain feature...
Anyway unusual model deserves unusual paintjob - it won't be "classic" Cryx for sure.

At first I was thinking about painting it similar to Reaper - green metal + orange glow.

But than I thought other colors could be cool:
Maybe something in this fashion: desert helljack?
Bright is surely unusual color for Cryx but what color would fit it the best for the glow?

Thanks in advance for help! :D

I think that dark armour plating, dark metallics combined with some strong glow in any bright colour that you like would look cool on such a big model. Add scratches, some runes.... Actually, I would paint it a bit like the nightmare artwork:

It is classic Cryx though, but that is what I would do.

Second option would be something unusual. Dark purple? Grey?

@Maru: not an option: I totally suck when it comes to painting freehands :(

@Pecker: dark scheme is tempting yet I am afraid of screwing paintjob on this piece - there won't be any chance to wash it off... :pale:
will have to think about it some time more :)

Yay looking good so far! I would paint it in metal/rust style.

But you can always paint over it. Test it out on a shoulderpad and write down the colourbuild so you can duplicate it :)
