Re: Scott Radom's stuff.
The blade is a result of what the customer made me do. I spent a LOT of time on the blade and was very happy with it. He wanted it to be more shiny and to look a lot more sharp. So I re-did it and just applied a lot of work on to the cutting edge of the blade, but in the end the customer asked if I could make it all look like the blade. Sigh. So here he is.
Some good points about the skin and the cloth.

OMG do you still have pictures of the before? its still a great job
Re: Scott Radom's stuff.
actually the only part I don't like is the robe/pyjama. looks like a flat color with a layer or two of washes. I don't think the blade is THAT bad. and the skin is well painted. Unless it was supposed to be a top-quality job

Re: Scott Radom's stuff.
you can always send the camera to me so I can check the optimal settings and return it to you as a Canon 350.
I already know how to configure it, so I will be able to offer some help to you...

The superhero was great, guy with cowl. What mini company made it and what is the mini part number and name????
Base for it.. do you build it or was it purchased?
Samurai: Great job on base, how did you do the plants???
You did very well with the figure, the sword is very shinny I like it.

Hey Barton,
The super hero mini is from Pulp City. The mini came in a boxed set taht was called "Deadeye and two vigilantes". This is one of the vigilantes. The base is from Dragon Forge design. Love DRagon Forge and Jeff Wilhelm (the guy who operates the company) is one of my favorite people in the net.
The Samurai foliage is super easy. It's a mix of two types of Silfor grass tufts (Sorry, dont' remember which) and the larger leafy looking clumps are pieces torn off a chunk of Silfor vine foliage. I think this kind was Late summer beech? I pulled my stuff out of the boxes and mixed it all up, making it next to impossible for me to order the same stuff once I run out. I am a fool.

The pic's sort of rape the violin, but the rest is pretty much there. So... I got some imput in the WIP section on this weird lady, and I'll still take some camera advice if there is some coming. This is from a tripod shot with a timer. Fire away please!
