The concept art doesnt look rackhamish because its rackhamish, theres even art there from the past.
Miniature wise same thing some minis there are plastic versions of some metals and others are new... I was especting even worse plastics to be honest and I think except for the gals the monsters are okish( not comparable with metals detail obviously)... the graphic design is pure shit and the art on the board is boring and subpar... finally the colored rings on the bases are so freaking lame!
I will not touch anything like this, theres better miniatures and better games to hunt down.
Almost got my hopes up that some of the Cadwallon minis were going to be available again in metals. Wanted some of their militia. Silly Paul - should have known better.
I still don't get why Rackham went away from metals. I just don't get it. I spend more on Rackham metals today than anything thing else - it has almost reached sickness proportions (according to my wife but phhh what does she know )
Currently painting 15mm's with an extremely large brush - one step away from dipping them in the pot.
Im interested in the minis for this more than the game, but i also wonder so much about rackham as it is one of the few ranges which i have always liked and it suits my style of painting aswell.
speaking of rackham games and minis - has anyone of you played hybrid? I have occasion to get the game for good price yet have no idea if it's playable or not...
