Re: In the shadow of Dark Tower
Yesterday while I was looking on the photos I knew that there's something actually strange on it, but couldn't find that. Now I know - the hand with the sword is bit misplaced - the end of sword must be in small recess of the base bit to left (and not to overlap the helmet). I already cut away the hand a placed it right. Afternoon I may make some photos...
Re: In the shadow of Dark Tower
My apologize to all for re-posting, but after fixing the hand with the sword I also fixed several small painting issues and re-photographed the mini on daylight. Re-uploaded to CMON too: https://coolminiornot.com/258590

Re: In the shadow of Dark Tower
Its a really nice mini, i've been willing to make a similar for a long time.
Re: In the shadow of Dark Tower
Beautiful tiny and detailed sculpt from Werner Klocke painted for Freebooter Miniatures. Real pleasure to paint, but pain-in-the-ass to photograph. It's soo small that my camera was unable to focus on it sharply so I used my friend's camera (thanx to Stulo).
And as always - any comments, ideas or critics are welcome...
If you would like to see full size picture with multiple angled views, or vote for the mini, visit the CMON: https://coolminiornot.com/260243
Some W.I.P. pictures can be found on my blog: https://dtsmodelling.blogspot.com/ - it's in slovak lang, but pictures doesn't need any translation

Re: In the shadow of Dark Tower
Just strongly watered down colour applied in MANY thin layers. I used Rackham's Precious Blue with some additions of green. Nothing complicated, just time consumpting.Maru wrote:eny particular rfecipe for oxydacion on gun??

Re: In the shadow of Dark Tower
I have some problems with CMON, they deleted Spitfire twice. I uploaded it again (and updated the link above), so sorry for non-working links...
