But have we ever forced anyone to post comments? I think we respect the way people act on this forum - as long as they don't offend or hurt anybody else.... :D

There was never any need for a big discussion... It was not necessary to make people post comments, but only to know what the others think about this issue. That's all :)

And that's also why it's in the OT section ;)

Well, imvao, you don't need to be rude to comment a mini. You just have to be honest. If you don't like something or find something weird, then just tell it. I tend to tell the people criticism in the following way:
1: Overall impression. Here I tell them what I think of the mini the second I look at it.
2: Flaws and dislikes. Now I tell them what I think coudl/ should be done different, why it should be done another way and, if I'm skilled enough or it's a matter of taste, how it should be done.
3: What I like. All the things the I do like about the mini. This may be very short, but finishing with a positive comment tends to soften it, as some peaople are rather touchy when it comes down to criticism.

And for my own Minis: I love good comments. That's why I was at headblast and that's why I'm here now (though University forbid painting anything during this time) . People don't say just "ooooh" or "aaaaaah" (I must admit, if I feel bad, I post in certain Forums for that   ), they tell you what to improve and that's what helps me to get better.
