I think (in my opinion that carries little weight due to being a novice) I like the paint job, like the base. Good free hand (I am guessing) on the base and mini, far, far, better than I can do.
The mini sculpt I do not like but that was out of your control.

Cool these are all superb, im particularly liking your NMM on the marines , i've been watching your thread in the Polish forums and i always did like your painting style :D cant wait to see more. I think perhaps your photos could do with a little more light as atm to me they seem a little dark (better than what i can achieve anyway lol) but still great to see you poke your head into the english area now and then :D.

What's next on your painting table?

Thanks for sharing in the English section, your work is amazing but I have one small technical criticism... Imageshack takes an absolute age to show the pictures, could you please get a photobucket account or something else that doesn't make my PC feel like I'm on dial-up? :banghead:
Getting back into the thick (or rather thin as in thinning my paints) of it, not picked up a brush in some time so this may hurt a bit until I get used to the feel of them again

Wow! Really really nice stuff! :D

I love the rich tone you have in your color choices. Blending is very smooth, nice tight freehand skills, and killer NMM (my current nemisis is NMM). You've got so many suble nuances in the skin tones and your shadows. I love the freedhand you did on the base of the last one.... (is that a space marine?) It ties the mini in with the base very well. Wow!

I'm not a person who gives compliments lightly... This is pretty impressive to me.

The only thing I wish you had done was to blend the base with the plinth a little more.... Most noticeably on the first mini... the female elf... Perhaps just a touch of sand or pumice to ease the transition from the cork part of the base into the woodgrain plinth would have been nice. And it would have been nice to see some more finish work on the black wood plinths too... either varnished like the first one or textured stucco style or smoothed with some putty before the black paint. Seeing them painted flat black but with the woodgrain still visible makes it look like you rushed through the final presentation. Even though they are probably not actually attached to the plinths (and just put there for the photos) it is a bit of a let down considering the superior paint jobs.

Can't wait to see your next ones!

Laters,
Jen
