maybe he's standing in some sort of artificial enviroment like special blood angels photo tent? where there are several lamps around? :razz: :bonk:

Actually i was up in Manchester during the weekend and saw the model in person. Talking to Tommie about it the GW store has lots of lighting so he just looked at the model from different angles to find out where the light sources were strongest and chose ones which looked cool, rather than those which were technically correct. I really like it personally, might give it a go myself sometime :D but it was good fun to see how another painter visualises NMM.
