Scott Radom's stuff.

Post by ScottRadom »

I took a lot of advice and tips from you guys in the WIP section. I feel a tad betrayed by my photography here! I am pleased with this in the hand but GACK. My WIP pics were better. I think I'll re-jigger something later. Anyway...

And the CMON link for those so inclined...

Thanks for all the help, and I'll take any comments!

nice job Scott - very nice!
I'd like to see it on slightly brighter background - imo model melts with background too much but it's my personal opinion of course :)

Surely your best so far.
It's a pity the pics are not as good as all the previous ones :(

Thanks guys! I'm going to try and get some better pics of this dude. My buddy seems to know his stuff, so I need to recruit him over here.

Thanks for the help in the WIP, made a WORLD of difference.

Wow, that's some serious progress since your previous works!

I would only highlight the orc's skin more, but the rest looks pretty cool to me!

Yep, you're right about the skin Mahon!

As for the robot thingy, it's an A.P.E. from grindhouse games. It's actually for a commission customer, which I swore I would quit doing. Here's a bigger pic...

And I really appreciate the comment about the improvement! I found this pic of the last mini's I painted before joining the ePainting world. This is less than two years ago...

I dug that pic out and I've been showing it around. That was the best I could do, my all out sunday morning "A" game. So I do feel like I am making progress. Still far to go to get where I want, but having a BLAST doing it. It's the crit's that make it possible. Never feel bad about slamming into my work. It's those good crit's that help me see what I need to do.

TY guys!
