Continuing the tale. I finished the war dog. I just need to take my time for pictures.

I started a warjack two days ago and it's been a nightmare so far. The vallejo spray I used took ages to dry and left a very oily surface as undercoat. So it took very long to get a semi smooth surface. Especially when you have to paint large flat surfaces with a pointed brush with red paint... (misplaced my flat brushes I guess...)
So the blends are not that smooth. I'm thinking of adding battle damage to hide some bad areas. And to make it all a bit more interesting.

Anyways, the red areas are 'done', larger black surfaces too and I'm about to start on the metals.

I'll be happy once this one is complete... :dead:

I'm going to glaze it a couple of times with some red ink to make it a bit more red, but if you look at the butcher on page 2 and you'll see that I keep the red colour pretty bright :)

Still WIP. Metallics need finishing and some final highlights need to be placed still.

Group shot of what's 'painted' so far. Only butch and the dog are really finished. The jacks are close, but still need some stuff done.
