Dog is my favourite too. After the 'jacks I'm going to paint my first unit... I'm not sure how I'm going to stay motivated. Maybe by splitting them up in different groups, or just start with a smaller unit. Also I received my freebooter's fate order, so that's an extra distraction ^^

Your whole group is just awesome, i love how smooth your painting is and i too really like the dog but the butcher is also very good. I think for me the warjacks are good but the weathering of the metal under the paint seems a little too exact and not random enough almost or something little more is missing from them. I will have a longer think about it after i do some more research as i actually have a similar issue when doing weathering, something just seems a bit off.

Thank you Arctica! :)

I agree with you on the weathering. It's a thing I never really practised. And I'm trying out some new techniques. This one was weathered with a bit of blister foam and I just applied some paint where I figured it would look good. I still might add some rusty colours to the metal parts and add some damage to areas with a regular brush. At the time didn't really think about it, I just started weathering for practise :) I didn't think about where to add damage. I just went for looks. Look at the feet for example. Factory fresh basically

But I'm always open for suggestions. As this isn't showcase quality, I have the guts to experiment ;)

I know what you mean, i have the same issue of not practicing weathering much so everytime i do a little bit it looks a little too exact and precise and not quite realistic enough. When i figure out that secret formula ^^ or beat it out of demi i'll pass it on.

And changed warcaster Vladimir's pose and presence while learning how to sculpt with milliput.

The butcher looks awesome, but is his armour more an orange tinge and was that intentional? as i'm more used to seeing a red. Still it is great to see you painting again. Especially since I will be starting a Cygnar tale soon :)
