Here are some more advances on the Metal Lore wizard. I changed the background for a cold one. I think it works better.

Another proof, that good painter can make good looking mini with simple model :)

I think purple coat is empty... Maybe some freehand?

Thanks Nameless and Slawol for your comments.

You should note that the left hand side of the cloak has "magically" turned into metal while the right side hasn't. So, the contrast must be aggressive on the metal side.

On the fabric side I could use a freehand as you mention but I could also try more sub-tones to make it less boring hmm...

Very nice NMM, I don't mind pink skin, there are plenty dark out there ;)
