Thanks a lot guys! :) Over the left sleeve will be a shield so I didnt paint much lights on that hand. On the right one I will add little bit red lights to balance it with tones at the bottom. :)

I'm impressed with the finesse you are achieving. Although, I don't understand what the blue figure in the middle of the chest piece represents. What is it?

Oh, I really don't know...maybe a tree? It's some kind of ornaments and I don't know anything about this dwarf. I chose name Dwalin, because I painted the tattoo on his head, inspirated by film The Hobbit. :)

So Easter give me more free time to make progress on Dwalin. :)
Before one week I finished base. It's second version, because the first one was too dark for this cartoon style.

The worst was to connect individual parts together, because it's heavy metal figure Image (I guess something about 2 kg). Also NMM on the hammer wasn't easy I can say, because I had to paint it separately. However I am quite satisfied with a result...

And here is the cloak with that beautiful colour :D ...

And here is current WIP - I started inside of the shield...

So that all what I done until today and if anybody would to know colour scheme of something on Dwalin, just write me PM, I saved my old wet palettes. :)

Nice work so far! Personally I would push the contrast a bit more on his hammer. :)

Hello friends,
finally I have more time to make progress on my minis. I was preparing some new stuff, conversion...etc. which I'll show later, when their painting time comes. :) Now I have Obi-wan Kenobi by Knight Models on my table; simple but very nice figure of my favourite Star Wars character and I am trying on it new acrylic colours Ferrario.
Few more words and photos on my blog: http://dakan-minis.blogspot.cz/2013/07/ ... i-wip.html ;) ImageClick to see full-sized image
