Today I didn't paint much

My girlfriend demands attentions...

Not like I would have done much if she wasn't here because I'm still deciding what further colours to use on my tzeentch champion.

exactly: painting red over black is hard...
but it could be worse: just think about painting yellow over black undercoat...

I found it was slightly easier painting red if you put a single layer of bestial brown between the red and the black. The coat doesn't need to be even, just a once over, but it worked for me

I've been staring with a fixed hatred at a Rider Of Rohan, plastic.

That model has, very probably, scarred me for life...

*has quiet private scream*

why is the detailing on the chainmail so soft?

why did I saw I was going to paint this mini?

I'm also wrestling with the face of a sniper, but have come up with idea of camouflageing face a bit which, all going well, I should be able to show off within a week or two...

Working on a couple of models at the moment:

- three Ira Tenebrae, you know those undead elementals from Rackham, for a customer
- a dark eldar... a bit of a test for an upcoming unit I want to do
- a sisters of battle Exorcist tank

today I FINALLY finished catachans...
I hate them: I hate their green uniforms, their muscles, their bases and the most I hate the fact there was so many of them!!!
