RE: Re: RE: lance tanks
ok, we know there's the base problem to be solved - I still have some other minis to paint in the meantime so please help me in making the decision
I added the poll about basing my cav force so I'm waiting for your votes for the coming 14 days - don't fail me!!!
and of course if you have any other idea for bases - let me know

RE: Re: RE: lance tanks
Something about where the wear damage does not sit well, the tips of the barrels are prestine and the missle launcher is beat to hell is the first one that really catches my eye. I am in teh military and when you have your weapon, such as on a deployment, you hit is the weapon on everything.
The blending on the cockppit glass seems a but subtle and flat as many others have said already.
All in all a terrific mini! I want to see pics of it on it's new base!

RE: Re: RE: lance tanks
my own military advisor - waiting for more advics from professional!
I know the cockpit looks boring - I repainted it and last evening started repainting it once again under watchful eye of prof. DEMON COLOR
about weathering - I painted centurion's barrels black because I though the heat/plasma/smoke/whatever causes weathering like this and as for the missle launchers - I don't use them in combat - arm cannons are MUCH more devastating!
(besides I just couldn't resist painting missles cute and clean)

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: lance tanks
can I vote again, I don't like the results now
seriously speaking, I don't think that bigger hax would be a good idea for a base. Rectangular tank won't look good on a hexagonal base. IMO, of course

there's one vote from reaper forums for no base under tanks so it's a draw at the moment

Train Man
looks like I've been in some kind of painting-frenzy recently - cannot remember when painting was such a fun for me
and here's one of the results - train man from pulp city
I got the model last year from Morfeo (thank you once again!) but somehow until now I couldn't find some time to finish painitng it I am satisfied with the result achieved, but I am not as much satisfied with the photo
it took me several attempts to get pics you can see but I this think it looks better in reality - photographing metallics has always been pain in the a$$
I think next time I'll try to paste some kind of background behind the model - the pure white one doesn't look too well, don't you think?
