Nice releases. Though nothing over the top or obscene this time.
And while I do really like the male survivor because he reminds me of Dark Souls, I'm not going to dish out $25 for a small based mini.

Dark Souls is exactly what I thought too. But more in relation to the Flower Knight, this maybe because I've died at least 60 times trying to beat Obstein and Smough and he reminds me of Obstein.

First playthrough or New Game +?

And you're right. There is some resemblance between Ornstein and the flower knight :)

First playthrough. I bought Dark Souls the day it was released and I've battled my way to this point keeping count of deaths along the way. I've died approx 340 times give or take 5 or ten. The first time I went into Ornstein and Smough I was on death 270. :banghead:
Not all of the 70 deaths was down to those too but the majority were.

In saying that I'm now at the point where I can beat Ornstein every single time I fight them, still working on a strategy for Smough though.

Just wait until you meet the happy couple in new game+
Tip: Fire works like a charm on both. Black fire bombs in particular. Watch the attack patterns and then throw, evade, throw, evade...

For me: they have nice sculpting skills (actually - very nice!) but concepts are strange (strange not for me, but probably not only for me).
