how to do ... bases

How to convert or sculpt a miniature? How to make a decent base or even a full diorama?!

how to do ... bases

Post by ToMaZ »

Soooo, I'm bored again, I spend the day searching the internet for basing stuff, and I thought, wouldn't it be easier to have all the links in one topic...
So here it goes:

CMON

basic basing
Raiding the spicerack
Making barbed wire
Rock coloration
simple slate bases
bubbling lava bases
Snow bases
another snow base
hot lava base
easy autumn bases
rackham style bases
hybrid bases

Brushthralls

back to bases
back to bases 2
hordes basing techniques
slate bases
thunderhead base
water bases

Random stuff

cobblestone bases
flour snowflakes

Chest of Colors

Rocky Seashore bases by Demoncolor

That's it for now, I'm tired of clicking :)

Be sure to check out those brushthralls links, they have a lot of pics and good explanations.
I'll update this topic if I find more tutorails, hints etc. I'll update it too with my own experiences too soon.
And YOU can add links and experiences too :)

Ok, so when I ask for people to help me do this sort of list it grows deathly quiet and nobody has time....

But when I give up on it someone finds the time and thinks its a great idea, why didn't we do this before?
