These are all gorgeous looking, superbly detailed 3D models, but I'd like to see how they turn out as a physical miniature.

I don't understand why this has to be limited? I mean: it sells out within a week, people all over whining that they didn't manage to buy one. So maybe more than 500 could have been sold?

Probably the moulds would have had their best time after 350 uses... don't know...

Print lines in the recessed areas, but apart from that this all seems pretty good stuff.
I wonder how big this 40k parts market really is...

I don't think there were any restrictions. I mean: there were diorama's and very large scale things mixed in as well.

In my opinion that's what makes this contest so great: almost no limits. No strict rules like a GD or scale modeling comp, you really get judged on your creativity here.

Yes the one on the right is last year's exclusive figure.

Both of them got the prize, you get judged by display (all your entries), not by single miniature.
