Rats. I'm not getting the attention stealing effect irl. My gf does though, so it's probaly me unconsciously focusing on the mini. I hope darkening the leaves further does the trick.

More progress. Darkened the leaves and started on the NMM on the arms and weapons.

Luckily for me he wasn't glued in place. Been procrastinating painting the last parts on him and fiddling with a new base instead. Coming from mainly sand and some static grass on the base this is the longest time i have ever put into one + displaybase. Not sure how to paint the leaves though.Should ...

Thanks for the reply, it's great to know why you thought the purple didn't fit in. The rest of the model is a pair of armored arms with quite eyecatching armorplates so i was kinda hoping to give them the the same vibrant purple and nice looking NMM gold trims and have them being the focalpoints of ...

How would you change it? Make it much darker, more blue or red? Or just go with another color. I kinda like the purple but not so much that i wont change it if it makes the rest of the paintjob look bad...
