Re: Skraaal's Work In Progress Thread
Just starting a Grey Knights army, here's my HQ. I'd say he's pretty much done now. Maybe I'll define the hammer haft a little more, maybe not. The pictures don't really do it justice

Re: Skraaal's Work In Progress Thread
Maybe black lining would work where the skin meets the cloth? Make it a starker line so that the two pieces look even more separate.
That might work, alternatively I was considering some quick freehand tattoos on the skin, mainly on the arm.

Re: Skraaal's Work In Progress Thread
The only bit the airbrush was used for was to lay down the initial gradient for the robes and skin. The rest of it is brush work, but I am trying to learn how to better use the airbrush, so they'll be a bit of this type of work from me! :D I agree with you about the skin, not sure how to vary it too...

Re: Skraaal's Work In Progress Thread
Heya, Over the weekend I attended my first ever painting workshop hosted by Darkmessiah. The tutor was none other than Volomir, an awesome miniature painter and an equally awesome guy. Here is the Savage Ork I painted over the two day workshop, I'll be finishing him off over the next few days. Also,...
