Re: Finished Trobwal

If this is the third mini you ever paint, you'r doing great. Good job!
Keep on painting and you'll see great improvement on your next miniatures. The secret is to keep practicing and never be afraid of experimenting new tehniques.

Re: My Games Workshop LOTR miniatures

Thank you guys! I'm glad you like it. :)
I wanted something different than the classic green. In the movie the colors can be seen behind the green glow. That's why I chose this color scheme. I also chose a harsh contrast with rough transition and desaturated colors in order to simulate the wear of ...

Re: My Games Workshop LOTR miniatures

Grish asked me to explain step by step how I created the base for the wraith.
So here are the steps I made (sorry for my English :P):

Re: Recent efforts

As I can see from these pictures you painted them very clean. That is good. It means you have a steady hand and some patience. For tabletop standard I think they are OK. If you want them to look even better you should do some more lights and shadows to increase the contrasts. Keep on painting! :)

Re: My Games Workshop LOTR miniatures

Thank you guys! The wraith is also my favorite. :)

@Grish: The leafs on soil are simply dry leafs chopped in very small pieces. The leafs on tree are dry leafs from mint plant. I glued them with PVA glue.

@sea.man: These pieces are only for display. Unfortunately I don't have anyone to play with ...
